The Platte County Health Department works in conjunction with the American Cancer Society to provide nutritional supplements to patients with cancer.

The patient must fill out a form and obtain a doctor's or dietician's signature and must show financial need in order to be eligible for the program.

The program provides one full case of Boost nutritional supplement for 3 months, dependant upon supply availability.
