- The Walk-in Clinics do not require an appointment.
- Services are provided by a highly qualified staff of Registered Nurses.
The Walk-in Clinic services include:
- Infant and toddler immunizations,
- Pre-school and school immunizations,
- Metabolic newborn screenings,
- Lead screening for children 6 months to 6 years,
- Blood sugar and hemoglobin screenings,
- Confidential pregnancy tests,
- Confidential HIV – AIDS and STD testing,
- Vaccines for children, including:
- Routine childhood immunizations,
- Prevnar (for infants),
- Children’s hepatitis A vaccine,
- Meningococcal, and
- Flu shots, and
- Adult and International Travel Vaccinations, including:
- Flu shots
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Japanese Encephalitis*
- MMR
- Meningococcal
- Pneumococcal
- Tetanus & Diphtheria
- Typhoid*
- Varicella
- Yellow Fever*
*These travel vaccines are available only at the Platte City office. An appointment is recommended. All other vaccines are available at both sites on a walk-in basis.
