  • The Walk-in Clinics do not require an appointment.
  • Services are provided by a highly qualified staff of Registered Nurses.

The Walk-in Clinic services include:

  • Infant and toddler immunizations,
  • Pre-school and school immunizations,
  • Metabolic newborn screenings,
  • Lead screening for children 6 months to 6 years,
  • Blood pressure,
  • Blood sugar and hemoglobin screenings,
  • Tuberculosis skin tests,
  • Head lice checks,
  • Confidential pregnancy tests,
  • Confidential HIV – AIDS and STD testing,
  • Vaccines for children, including:
      • Routine childhood immunizations,
      • Prevnar (for infants),
      • Children’s hepatitis A vaccine,
      • Meningococcal, and
      • Flu shots.
  • Adult and International Travel Vaccinations, including:
      • Flu shots
      • Hepatitis A
      • Hepatitis B
      • Japanese Encephalitis*
      • MMR
      • Meningococcal
      • Pneumococcal
      • Tetanus & Diphtheria
      • Typhoid*
      • Varicella
      • Yellow Fever - temporarily unavailable.

*These travel vaccines are available at both the Parkville and Platte City offices. Please call ahead about travel vaccinations so that we can order the appropriate vaccines before you visit our clinics. Also, visit CDC's website to find out exactly which vaccinations are needed for your trip. All other vaccines are available at both sites on a walk-in basis.
