Arrive Alive Events

Arrive Alive is a student-led driving safety campaign that engages local high schools in the fall and spring. Nationwide, vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for those aged 15 - 25. Teen drivers consistently rank in the top percentage of traffic accidents/fatalities. This event raises awareness and provides education to students related to the importance of responsible driving behaviors including seat belt use, speeding, distracted driving and the rejection of alcohol and drugs while driving.

Arrive Alive events highlight the role of community responders and resources that help share the message in responsible driving. These partners participate by setting up hands on exhibits for the students to participate in. All messages are tied back to safe driving choices. Participation at each school is flexible, offering them the ability to tailor it to their student body.

Arrive Alive events are supported by funds from MoDOT Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety and the Platte County Health Department.
