Do you need a safe place for your baby to sleep?
Families must meet the following requirements to participate in the Safe Sleep Program:
- A Missouri resident.
- 34 weeks pregnant, or up to six months postpartum.
- Eligible for WIC, Medicaid, or has income at or below 185% of the federal poverty level.
- Have no other safe sleep space such as crib, pack 'n play or bassinet or ability to obtain one.
- Family agrees to participate in two individual safe sleep education sessions.

Safe Cribs is a program funded by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education - Every Child Succeeds. This program provides full-size portable cribs for qualifying families.
Parents are provided information on safe sleep for their baby, and infants are provided a safe place to sleep. The overall goal on this program is to save infant lives and support families.
