Clinic Services

The Platte County Health Department offers a wide range of clinic services. Some services are available to everyone, some to Platte County residents only and others are for residents who are uninsured, underinsured or on Medicaid. Some services are age restricted.

Flu Shots
Annual Flu Shots are now available during regular clinic hours.  Fees and insurance apply. To schedule an appointment call (816) 762-4196 or (816) 858-2412.  Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Last appointment 3:45pm)

Immunizations
At our immunization clinic, we believe in the power of vaccines to protect individuals and communities from preventable diseases. Swope Health
Primary care services offered by Swope Health at the Platte County Health Department.

Tuberculosis (TB)
Tuberculosis (TB) is a communicable disease caused by bacteria that is spread by respiratory droplets. TB normally affects the lungs but can also affect other areas of the body.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
The WIC program provides nutrition and health services to pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children up to age five based on nutritional risk and income eligibility.
